There are people who come out at a very young age and then there are those who are afraid to admit to themselves and to others that they are homosexuals until they reach a breaking point. English actor Simon Woods definitely belongs to the second group.
While he was at Oxford, Woods kept his sexuality to himself (or wasn’t even aware that he was gay) and dated Rosamund Pike. The two seemed perfect for each other and were quite happy for more than two years. Of course, after Woods announced that he and chief executive of Burberry Christopher Bailey were a thing, everyone realized that Simon was not the least happy with Pike.
Though the world was shocked to hear that Simon was gay, we have to admit that it takes a lot of bravery to come out after years of pretending you are something you are definitely not. For that, we applaud him.
