When Boy George first entered the spotlight, the public was dying to know more about his personal life. Speculations about his sexuality were not uncommon, and the famous musician was reluctant to give anyone a definitive answer. When reporters asked him if he was gay, Boy George gave all sorts of answers, without really telling them anything. For instance, during one of his interviews, the androgynous star said that he preferred a ‘nice cup of tea’ to sex – though he later came out and described himself as ‘militantly gay.’
He finally revealed his feelings in Take it Like a Man, where he described his secret love affair with no other than Culture club drummer John Moss. Boy George even claimed that Moss left his fiancée to be with him, but said his lover was never completely fine with the idea of being in a relationship with a man.
