She even made a song about it, the now-famous Bootylicious. She said that she was under immense pressure and that there are more important things that women should worry about instead of whether they have put on a few pounds; things like character and having fun.
Perhaps the most insane part of the story is that Beyoncé was under just as much pressure and public spotlight when she lost 20 those pounds to prepare for her Dream Girls role. Sometimes it feels that the “weight Nazis” are just waiting for something to be snarky about.
