Rebel Wilson is a plus-sized comedienne and actress who has been hailed as one of the funniest female voices in modern comedy. She is an uncharacteristic entry on our list for a few reasons, the first of these being that she is often the one making fun of her figure.
The other reason is that she was forced to make a choice between a career in Hollywood and an endorsement deal with the famous weight loss firm, Jenny Craig. She went with Hollywood, explaining that contracts she decided to sign effectively prohibited her from losing weight. You make of it what you want.
Rebel has also done a lot to promote the positive image of plus-sized people, always standing firm by her beliefs that just because you are overweight does not mean you are not beautiful.
