Being the older one in a relationship doesn’t necessarily mean you have it all figured out, as X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger discovered. The beautiful singer began dating baby-faced Formula One world champion Lewis Hamilton in 2008 and learned that even a 6-year age gap might prove to be impossible to bridge.
Although she obviously didn’t believe that his age was an obstacle, Nicole should have been in a devoted relationship with someone more mature. The only problem was that she actually thought Lewis was mature enough for her. Here’s what she said:
“I don’t think it has ever crossed my mind that he’s younger than me. It is about energy and spirit, so I don’t think age is relevant. Anyway, sometimes it feels like he’s older than I am.”
Nicole and Lewis have been in an on/off relationship ever since, and no one knows whether they’ll end up together again or break up for good.
