Paul Walker made a career starring in movies about racing. The Fast and the Furious franchise made him a household name and earned hundreds of millions of dollars for the studio. Unfortunately for Walker, his family and his fans, his life was cut short by a car accident.
Walker and his friend Roger Rodas were going to a charity event organized by Walker’s Reach Out Worldwide organization when they crashed in Valencia, Santa Clarita and were killed instantly.
The police investigation concluded that the car was going at around 100 mph in a 45 mph zone when it crashed into a lamppost on Hercules Street. The car burst in flames that swallowed the vehicle but the silver lining was that both Rodas and Walker were already dead before the fire.
