9. Sean Connery
You need but a short glimpse at Sean’s interesting looks to know he’s the type of a man who’s seen a lot in life. Not only was his life full of vivid experiences but he also learned and understood the value of hard-earned money. His first job was delivering milk from door to door in Edinburgh for a paycheck of 21 shillings a week.
After that, Sean enlisted in the Royal Navy, and like many young men there, he opted for a tattoo. Unlike many others, his were not as frivolous as theirs were – two tats to reflect two of his lifelong commitments. One reads “Mum and Dad” while the other one is “Scotland Forever”.
After three years of service and a long battle with a stomach ulcer, his naval career was cut short. But that didn’t stop him, oh no – he went on to work as a bricklayer, lifeguard and coffin polisher, while focusing on bodybuilding at the same time. Atta boy, Sean!
