Everybody’s favourite E.R. doctor sure went through a lot of changes before realizing he has the perfect looks, charms and skills necessary to become a fantastic actor. An avid sports fan, at the age of 16, George tried to enroll into the Cincinatti Reds baseball team.
Unfortunately, he didn’t get a contract and instead decided do pursue a career in broadcast journalism. Of course, he dropped out after some time. Before moving to LA and becoming a famous actor he did a number of jobs he still remembers gladly today.
He says they have thought him much, at least in terms of what he’s never doing again. Some of the jobs he had include being a shoe salesman and working as a farm hand on a tobacco farm. Sure, it was back-breaking work, but it toughened him enough and strengthened his resolve.
