13. Rod Stewart
Before he could charm the audiences with his accent, appearance and singing, Rod Stewart was working for his bread just like any other man would. Some of the celebrities on this list were working as waiters, some as carpenters, some as this some as that.
Rod Stewart, though? Nah, he worked at a cemetery. Despite the popular rumour, he wasn’t a gravedigger though, he was simply labouring about at Highgate Cemetery, helping around. Before that he used to be a screen printer, printing wallpapers, which is kind of odd considering the fact that he’s colourblind.
After he got laid off, he got a job putting picture frames together. When that failed to interest him, he tried beeing an electrician’s assistant feeding wire into conduits. He was even an apprentice at a professional soccer club (at the urging of his soccer-crazed father), but said he didn’t like having to clean the team players’ shoes.
