13. Sean Connery
Sean Connery did a lot of things throughout his life, including being a milkman, a lifeguard, a coffin polisher, etc. He was also in the Royal Navy, enlisting at the age of 16. He probably didn’t know then that he would become the future James Bond in a matter of years. And he also got tattoos, just like everyone else did in the Navy. But unlike others, who mostly drew badass stuff such as skulls, flames, daggers and what not, Sean inked himself with two of his biggest life commitments: one reads “Mum and Dad”, the other “Scotland Forever”.
After three years of service however, Connery was discharged because a of a nasty battle with a stomach ulcer that turned a bit serious – it was even life threatening at one point. When he returned home, he worked as a bricklayer in Edinburgh, eventually becoming a bodybuilder, which would allow him to slowly shift to modelling and acting.
