Priscilla Presley is best known for being the former wife of the legendary Elvis Presley. An actress by profession, Presley is also a successful businesswoman and a person who single-handedly turned Graceland into one of the most popular tourist attractions in the United States. As for the big screen, her notable roles include those in Naked Gun series of films, as well as in the popular TV show Dallas.
Priscilla’s maternal grandparents were of Norwegian descent. She was born in Brooklyn to Anna Iversen and a US Navy pilot John Wagner (of German descent) in 1945. Her parents married young, after dating for three years. When Priscilla was only six months old, Wagner died in a plane crash returning home from a leave. Her mother remarried several years later to an Air Force officer from Canada, Paul Beaulieu. Priscilla had always considered him her father, the only one she ever had.
