Born Christopher Ashton Kutcher on February 7, 1978, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Ashton Kutcher started his career as a model, slowly but surely climbing toward the status of a popular actor and successful producer at the same time. He was born just minutes ahead of his twin brother, Michael, to parents Larry and Diane Kutcher.
He was discovered by a talent scout in college, and that’s when his modeling career began, most notably when he did photo-shoots for Calvin Klein. In 1998, he landed the role of Kelso on That ‘70s Show, and would proceed to produce MTV’s hit reality television show Punk’d. It was only a matter of time when his career would reach new heights, but it was bound to happen sooner or later. And it did when he starred in The Butterfly Effect, also serving as an executive producer on the film.
