Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson was once a rich and famous rapper, although now he’s simply famous – he has recently filed for bankruptcy and is now suing his old lawyers for $75 million. He is well known for his music, but also for his miraculous survival after being shot nine times at close range with a 9mm pistol. That’s pretty hardcore, you have to admit that.
But all that came later. On June 29, 1994, Jackson was arrested for selling cocaine to an undercover police officer. Three weeks later, he was arrested again (how did he even get out in such a short time?) when the police found heroin, ten ounces of crack cocaine and a pistol in his home. In 2003, he was arrested for weapon possession, along with four members of his entourage, and in May 2004, he jumped off the stage into the audience after being struck by a water bottle – this resulted in three counts of assault and battery, so we can only imagine all the chaos he caused down there.
