How on earth did the charming, innocent Hugh Grant end up on this list, you wonder? Did he shoot somebody? Steal diamonds from a vault? No, he wasn’t involved in anything as serious as that, but it seems that Grant knows how to use his charming persona for personal gain outside the studio as well.
Apparently, Grant ended up with a $1,180 fine for engaging in sexual intercourse with a prostitute in a public place. This wouldn’t have been such a scandal if it hadn’t happened right around the release of his movie “Nine Months,” so it slightly affected the audience’s opinion on Grant.
The whole situation saw Grant sent into an AIDS awareness program, and generally speaking, made for some bad publicity, but it has since been forgotten by pretty much everyone, both the media and the public.
