Well, it seems we have a winner. Salma Hayek is, without a single doubt, the craziest pet lady out there. When we say craziest, we mean that the fact that she has quite a little zoo in her household is really nothing short of fantastic.
With more than 50 pets (five horses, four alpacas, one cat, nine dogs, one hamster, five parrots, two fish, bunny rabbits, turkeys and 20 chickens), the Mexican actress is ranked extremely high on our dog lover chart. What’s more, she doesn’t only adopt cats and dogs but loves all animals equally.
And as far as pooches are concerned, the Mexican actress claims that she doesn’t bother with shelters anymore because there are so many abandoned dogs everywhere; she literally picks them up from the streets.
We love her even more because of the way she persuaded her husband to accept their ninth dog Ocho: she wanted to tell Francois-Henri Pinault that she was having an affair before revealing that she actually adopted another pooch.
As brilliant as her plan sounds, her husband definitely knows her better than that and was aware that they are the proud owners of nine dogs prior to listening to her extreme convincing methods.
