What we really love about her is the fact that she manages to stay out of tabloids, except when she has something really important to share with her fans. We love her even more for sharing her wonderful adoption story with the world and hopefully, prompting others to do the same.
Zooey, who once wrote how she wanted a dog so much, came to an animal shelter with the desire to make her dream come true. She immediately fell in love with Dot and knew that this dog was meant to be hers. Zooey was about to head home when the rescue staff informed her that Dot has a sister, whom she later named Zelda. Well, Zooey really had no other option than to adopt them both and couldn’t be happier for making such a decision.
