19. Bruce Springsteen
When you go and see Bruce Springsteen perform live, you cannot help but think you are looking at a 20-something performer on the stage, singing his heart out and never making you feel like you were taken for a fool by an old-timer who is cashing in on past glory. With The Boss, you always get what you paid for.
And then, as you are driving home, a thought hits you like a ton of bricks – Bruce is in his mid-60s. Not his mid-50s. His mid-60s. You think about your dad or grandad and you realize what these numbers mean. And you think back at the man you just saw kick ass for two and a half hours. Bruce is the proof that if you do what you love, what you really love, you will never get old.
