Even those who can’t name one thing Bynes has been in (is she a musician or an actress or a model perhaps?) have heard about her and her legal issues and mental concerns. Before her sudden downward spiral in 2013, Amanda Bynes seemed pretty reasonable and decent. But then she started acting out.
It started with erratic behavior on Twitter, strange remarks, almost-nude photos and awkward attempts to get it on with Drake. Then came the arrests. She was first arrested for throwing a bong out of the window of her home in New York. When she appeared in court, she looked like a prostitute on meth.
A few months later, with her behavior constantly deteriorating, she was placed under involuntary psychiatric hold after setting fire to a driveway of a house in California. After several stints at different facilities and under her parents’ temporary conservatorship, she seems to finally be doing better.
