Another walking meltdown on our list, but at least when it comes to Courtney, it kind of fits her. Hardcore rockers are supposed to be messed up, right? The thing is, Courtney is not one of those rockers who get super-smashed all the time and throw their life away before dying a premature death. She has her composed, “normal” periods, which is why her periodical meltdowns seem particularly bad.
Throughout her career, Love has been in trouble with the law several times, she went in and out of rehab and got on and off drugs so many times no one really keeps track anymore. One day she will appear in public in great shape, dressed glamorously or even elegantly, and the next day she’ll be 20 pounds thinner, her makeup smeared all over, hair a ratty mess, cigarette dangling from her chapped mouth. She is constantly in debt, she has been accused of stealing valuable items, or losing valuable items, and has been involved in multiple lawsuits.
