Even the biggest divas can have huge meltdowns, as we have seen so many times. Fortunately, some of them manage to bounce back even after huge breakdowns, like Christina Aguillera did following her Super Bowl disaster in 2011.
Aguillera had just divorced her husband Jordan Bratman and entered a dark, messy period. She had been given one of the greatest honors in America’s entertainment industry – to sing the national anthem before the Super Bowl game. She hit all the right notes – after all, she’s a tremendous talent – but somehow she managed to sing all the wrong lyrics. Imagine the outrage, the embarrassment, the breakdown that ensued.
Soon after, she nailed her own song at the Grammy’s ceremony, but just as everyone though she was going to be alright after all – she stumbled and almost fell while leaving the stage. She eventually got her act together but not before punching one of her dancers at a party and spending a night in a drunk tank.
