Sharon isn’t really that active in Hollywood nowadays because of two reasons. The first one is that she’s a female in her fifties and she was once treated as the sexiest woman on the planet. The second one is simple – she is simply crazy.
Yup, you read that right, her age is the least of her problems, what with her infamous rep for being too difficult and too crazy. Sure, you could have (pretty much) acted however you wished in the 90s; a lot of things were considered OK back then, especially if every single person thought you were smoking hot. But not today. Things are a bit different now.
Stone has pretty much branded herself a person who is simply impossible to work with. With a never-ending streak of crazy incidents, she has successfully alienated herself from absolutely everyone in showbiz. So yeah, that’s the reason why you probably haven’t seen anything popular with Sharon Stone since Catwoman (and that movie was horrible).
