Morgan Freeman, an excellent actor and a man with a fantastic voice, has his own idea about God and religion. Although he has played God in a movie, he does not believe that God as such exists.
Namely, Freeman believes God was created by the greatest power in the universe – the human mind. By logic – those who believe in God believe in themselves, and Freeman definitely believes in himself more than in anyone else. Consequently, the notion of a creator who created us, instead of the other way around, is unimaginable to the acclaimed actor.
He also has a rather controversial view on Satan, believing that God and Satan are one and the same, and it is basically only a matter of time when the other will appear. Having the role of God under his belt, Freeman would also like to play Satan in a movie, similar to the character Al Pacino has played in The Devil’s Advocate.
