John Travolta and his wife Kelly Preston lost their 16-year-old son Jett while they were vacationing together. The circumstances were very tragic. Not only was the boy very young, the death was also the result of a freak accident that no one could have every predicted or stopped.
While the family was vacationing in the Bahamas, they noticed that they did not know where Jett was. He was later found in the bathroom of the family’s suit in the Old Bahama Bay Hotel, and was unconscious at the time. It would later be confirmed that Jett apparently slipped and fell in the bathtub.
He ended up hitting his head while falling and died on impact. It was very heartbreaking for the parents, who said that Jett was an amazing son and that they enjoyed every second of the very short time that he was with them.
