Anna Nicole Smith ended up dying because of drug use, and her son died in the same way. The former Playboy playmate had a very strange life and much of it was tragic, despite the glitz and glamor that she tried to portray.
Daniel apparently died of a methadone overdose. However, Smith and her lawyers believed that he was murdered, even though all signs had pointed to an overdose, whether intentional or accidental. According to the late model, her son Daniel never expressed any signs of wanting to harm himself in any way, so she figured that it must have been murder.
He died only three days after his sister Danielynn was born. Daniel was found dead sleeping in the same room with his mother, which makes the death even stranger. The family was in the Bahamas at the time.
