If we told you that there is actually a building where both Bono and Steve Martin live and that their neighbor is none other than Steven Spielberg, would you believe us? Whether you would or not doesn’t matter because it’s true. San Remo, the luxury 27-floor apartment building in Manhattan located between West 74th Street and West 75th Street, is home to all three of these major celebrities. We have absolutely no idea what they talk about in the elevator, but we’d sure as hell like to find out.
Interestingly enough, Bono was lucky enough to buy his San Remo apartment from the late Steve Jobs. The San Remo complex has two towers, the North, and the South, with Steve Jobs’ duplex apartment sitting in the North one. It was purchased in 1982 and redone by IM Pei, but Jobs actually never moved in – he sold it to Bono for $15 million.
