Back in the days when she was still Mrs. Willis, Demi had the opportunity to buy a duplex in the San Remo, which she did in 1987. This fascinating New York City building overlooks the lake in Central Park and has also been the home of other A-listers such as Bono, Steven Spielberg, Donna Karan, Glenn Close, Tiger Woods, and many, many more. It’s one of those beautiful places that celebrities go in and out of frequently, so imagine how many famous people you would see every day just by living in the neighborhood.
While we’re at it, there was even some drama in the building in 2007 when Billy Squier and Bono went to court over Billy’s fireplace. Apparently, they lived on the same floor, and the fireplace was blowing smoke into Bono’s unit, which he didn’t take too kindly to. We won’t choose sides in this quarrel, really, all we want is an invitation to the block party. That would be awesome!
