Meryl Streep and Gwyneth Paltrow share a number of attributes and achievements – they are both lovely Hollywood ladies, they are both very talented actresses, and they both won an Oscar for their acting. Not only that but they also both own property in NY’s River Lofts building. If you’ve ever been there, you know that it’s a breathtaking place.
But there’s more to the story than just the fact they live next to each other. This one time, Meryl Streep was organizing a family reunion for Thanksgiving and wanted to make some turkey. Of course, her oven malfunctioned and the desperate Streep remembered that Paltrow has a fantastic oven in her home. So she e-mailed her, only to learn nobody was at the Paltrow residence at the moment. But Gwyneth let Streep go into her home anyway and told her to prepare the turkey there. Now that’s a good neighbor!
