Lena Headey really needs no introduction. If you saw her for the first time on Game of Thrones, there’s a good chance that you were living in a cave for the past couple of decades. However, you might have missed her in the 1990s, because she was always playing small supporting roles, slowly building her chops and getting herself prepared for the big-time.
Her big break finally came in 2005, when she played the lead in her first big budget film, the fantasy epic “The Brothers Grimm.” From then on, things only got bigger and better for her. If you remember the blockbuster movie “300,” she had a big role in that one too, playing Gorgo, Queen of Sparta.
Remember Fox’s Terminator show? It was called “The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Yep, Headey was Connor in that television show. And if you really want to dig deep for the small roles she did in the 1990s that are interesting, check out 1994’s adaptation of “The Jungle Book,” in which she played Katherine.
