Snoop Dogg hasn’t lived the straightest of lives, by any standards. He has had quite a few run-ins with the law, mostly over possession of certain substances that some people frown upon. He even managed to get British cops pissed off on a few occasions.
His most serious trouble with the law happened back in the crazy 90s, more precisely 1993 when he and his bodyguard were put on trial for the murder of a gangster.
To be more precise, Snoop was driving the car from which his bodyguard shot Phillip Woldermariam who died from inflicted wounds. His defense lawyer was no other than Johnnie Cochran who lived up to his reputation and managed to get both Snoop and his bodyguard acquitted, albeit after a series of serious legal battles.
