The former child star is today far, far away from her Hannah Montana cuteness but she still suffers from the same things she did when she was a kid – namely, her allergies. Apparently, Miley is allergic to certain antibiotics, an allergy that should be taken very seriously since it can potentially be fatal.
In April 2014, Miley was rushed to the nearest hospital after suffering a severe allergic reaction to antibiotics. She was released soon after, but had to go back because her symptoms returned. This caused a lot of trouble in her touring schedule, as the beginning of her tour had to be pushed back. Miley apologized to disappointed fans on her Twitter page, saying that the situation was completely out of her hands, which is true.
Allergic reactions to antibiotics are nasty because they can happen all of a sudden, even if you have previously taken the same antibiotic with no problems at all. They are also potentially fatal because they can cause anaphylactic shock.
