10. Ray Charles lost count
Soul singer Ray Charles is father to twelve children with nine different mothers. Two years before his death in 2004 he gave each child the sum of $500,000 on the understanding that they would not try to get anything more from his estate but seven of them didn’t keep their promises.
Charles is definitely a legend when it comes to children, but on the other hand, at least he admitted to them all. There might be some more out there that are still uncovered, who knows. Even though Charles was married for a long time, he was very unfaithful. He was especially unfaithful on tour, as many musicians seem to be.
However, even though he had a hard time staying faithful, he cared enough about his children to give them all money. Also, most of the mothers were taken care of as well financially, even though he only had two actually fives. To this day, he now has 21 grand children and 5 great grand children.
