6. Heather Locklear

The “Melrose Place” actress and former rocker wife of Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee as well as Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora pretty much stays under the radar when it comes to her political views, but she’s been known to have been a Republican in Hollywood for many, many years.

Locklear has found many ways to skirt the issue and never talk about her political views during press and magazine interviews conducted for her various TV shows throughout the years.

Throughout her public career as an actress, she has chosen to remain almost “stubbornly” quiet on the matter of her political views. She avoids speaking about politics in any public setting where a specific viewpoint might be traced back to her in a definitive way.

According to the Zimbio website, when asked to participate in a 2004 documentary that was being created about Republicans in Hollywood, Heather Locklear refused to be a part of it. It was titled “Rated R: Republicans in Hollywood,” and in it, other known celebrity conservatives discussed the fact that they are a cultural minority in Hollywood and around the country.

For now, Heather Locklear remains tight-lipped on the subject of politics and has for many years. Few if any on-record comments about her conservative values and leanings toward the right have ever been published. However, she has been linked to other famous Republicans in Hollywood, including Jack Wagner and David Spade.

Despite these links, it remains unclear if these romantic connections were at all “politically motivated” by any of the parties involved. Meanwhile, Heather Locklear continues to fly under the radar when it comes to her political leanings. This is much to the chagrin of a lot of the other Republican actors in Hollywood who would like the party to have more of a public and outspoken voice in Hollywood and around America.
