6. Edward Furlong
Here’s another guy whose career got derailed because of all of his problems with the law. Of course, everyone knows Edward Furlong as the kid that co-starred in Terminator 2 with Arnold Schwarzenegger. Everyone thought that he was going to become a really big star after that, but his career never really ended up going anywhere because of drug abuse issues.
People, unfortunately, forgot about the star over time, but he still does pop up in a movie or two every now and then. The sad part is that he is usually busier with the police than he is with being an actor.
In January 2013, he was arrested three times in that month alone. And all three of the arrests came from domestic violence charges. The third strike was the last one, and after that, he ended up going to prison for a while because of the domestic abuse. The reports from the incidents say that he got into a verbal fight with his ex-girlfriend in West Hollywood and that the fight quickly escalated into a physical one.
It did not get any better for him as the year went on either. He was arrested once again in May for the same exact charges.
The first time he was held on a $50,000 bond, and the second time it was upped to $100,000. Hey Ed, maybe it’s not a good idea to stay with this girl. It might not work out.
It’s a shame that we only hear about him when he gets arrested, because he had such great potential as an actor.
Too bad that he will always be remembered as the kid from Terminator 2 that disappeared and then eventually got arrested a bunch of times.
