Here’s another NFL superstar that loves to get in trouble. After making a successful transition from the NFL to reality television, he wasn’t having much fun when it got arrested in May 2013. He was arrested because of probation violations. According to reports, Chad forget to report to his parole officer a total of two times and he never showed any proof that he took a domestic violence education class, which he was supposed to take. Why was he on parole? Why did he need to take a domestic violence class? Because the former football star was arrested in 2012 in a domestic violence case stemming from charges that he abused and assaulted his ex-wife.
However, that was not the end of his legal troubles for the year. When he went to his hearing for the probation violations, he was acting like a clown the entire time, which the judge did not find funny at all. According to the reports from the courtroom, Chad was playfully slapping his attorney on the rear end during the proceedings.
Because of his tomfoolery, there was no more deal on the table for him and there was therefore no way for him to avoid some jail time. The former wide receiver ended up serving a sentence of 30 days in prison for the parole violations.
He is another play that has had a lot of problems with the law, and most people believe that he would have been able to play a lot longer in the league if he was not such a loose cannon.
Maybe all of these run-ins with the law will help him in his reality television career in the end, who knows.
