Now here is a story that you would not expect. Cute, young actresses get arrest all of the time. But it is usually something like drunk driving, or if you are Wynona Rider, then shoplifting. But how many young, female stars get arrested for domestic abuse? Well, that’s exactly what the American Horror Story star got arrested for in July of 2013.
She was arrested by police in Montreal and according to the charges; she assaulted her 22 year-old boyfriend, and fellow American Horror Story actor Evan Peters. Peters is a pretty small and feeble guy, but Roberts is really tiny herself as well. Perhaps she has a really mean streak. There are a lot of small people out there who pack a serious punch and if riled up, they can get really brutal.
According to reports, the couple got into a very big fight that ended up turning violent. Peters, being the gentleman that we believe him to be, did not hit Roberts, but she did get a couple good shots in on him. The police report claimed that Peters had some bad bite marks on him and that he left the scene with a bloody nose as well.
It was a good thing for Roberts that the injuries were not that bad, because Peters decided that he did not want to press charges. However, the two were able to make amends.
According to some newspapers, Roberts and Peters were seen only a couple of days later together in New Orleans. The pictures taken of them showed Peters embracing a crying Roberts.
It seems that she was apologizing for the abuse at the time and was sorry about her actions and violent outburst.
