11. Gucci Mane
Gucci Mane getting arrested is really no surprise, so you knew that he would be on this list. He gets arrested multiple times every year it seems. And in 2013, he was arrested twice, or maybe more – we’ve lost count.
The first arrest was in March, when he assaulted a man in a nightclub in his hometown of Atlanta. The police report states that a man walked into the VIP section of the club, where Gucci and his people were having a good time, and he wanted to take a picture with the famous rapper. But he didn’t get a picture. What he got was a bottle broken over his head by the Atlanta rapper.
The victim was hit over the head with a champagne bottle and was taken to the hospital to get some stitches. He was charged for aggravated assault.
But that was not the end of his legal troubles. Later in the year, they got much more serious. He was charged on two counts of possessing a firearm as a felon. This charge stemmed from an incident in September when he showed a gun to police officers and threatened them with it.
The police report states that one of Gucci’s friends was worried about his strange behavior and called the cops to help him. The cops started talking to the rapper, but here bet with threats and a gun. He also had some drugs in his possession as well.
Gucci has spent a lot of time in prison, but somehow he still manages to put out mixtapes and albums regularly. Maybe he gets to have a recording studio in his cell, who knows.
This was not his most severe charge, however, back in 2005 he was accused in a shooting death, but the charges ended up being dropped due to insufficient evidence.
