7. David Faustino
Some of our middle-aged audience may remember The Lily Tomlin Special, which featured a baby David at just three months old. He then went on to play the starring role for ten seasons in the hit comedy Married with Children. He’s now retired and happy.
But he didn’t make a great start in the first place, “After the show was on for two or three weeks, I went to the mall and I wore my Married with Children (1987) shirt, just waiting for someone to say, “Oh, you’re the guy…!” And not one person said anything.”
The aforementioned show, Married with Children (1987) portrayed his character’s persona, “Grandmaster B”, as a parody of his real attempts at becoming a rap star.
David Faustino was born on March 3, 1974 in L. A. Apart from his legendary 1987 show, he’s also known for Boston Strangler: The Untold Story (2008) and Killer Bud (2001). He appeared and lead in around 30 films, more or less known, and numerous TV series and TV films.
He was previously married to Andrea Faustino, but the couple divorced in 2007. They met in a spiritual center in LA and got married in Las Vegas. His search for spirituality went further than the center, as he was arrested for the possession of marijuana in May 2007. When the actor agreed to join a rehab program and a support group, the charges were dropped.
The former child star is also an entrepreneur. He co-founded and co-hosted a nightclub in Los Angeles named Balistyx, which he named after his rap album.
He has appeared in several TV shows in the past couple of years, and has been filming The Night Before.
