Jerry Maguire was little John’s big screen debut, and since then, he’s starred in Stuart Little. The young actor won several prizes for appearances in Jerry Maguire, Stuart Little, Meego, and The Little Vampire.
It’s terrible to say but since Jonathan’s grown up, he hasn’t had much more luck in the movie industry and he now enjoys a bit of Jiu Jitsu and weight training.
He’s a fervent supporter of the chiropractic way of life, a form of alternative medicine which is concerned with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mechanical disorders of the neuro-musculoskeletal system.
In one of the more recent interviews, he explains: “If you want to perform at your ultimate best, if you want to be the best you can be in sports and in school, mentally, physically – chiropractic is the way, because everything has to do with your nervous system.”
His drastic change was covered by almost all the tabloids and when they learned that he’s loves Jiu Jitsu, they immediately asked him if he ever considered to fight professionally.
Jonathan replied: ”I’ve been pretty busy filming and I would need to put off a certain amount of time to really train for a fight and be in amazing cardio shape and really work on my striking more. I’m not saying no and I’m not saying yes.”
The 23 year old star appeared in Edge of Salvation, For the Love of Money in 2012, and is pretty active in TV shows, as well.
More importantly Jonathan has been very active in various humanitarian organizations and causes.
He has been a speaker for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, and is actively involved with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, the Starlight Children Foundation and the NBA’s Read to Achieve program.
