12. Miko Hughes
Possibly one of the most adorable faces in the 80′s, Miko was the star of Pet Semetery, Jack the Bear and Kindergarten Cop. Unfortunately for Miko, he didn’t get much work after those films but he’s now a successful DJ.
The talented American kid actor who started acting when he was only 22 months old, appeared in the cult movie based on the novel of Stephen King, and can brag about having co-starred with Bruce Willis in Mercury Rising (1998) with the role of an autistic kid who solved government secret code.
Also, he played along Schwarzenegger in Kindergarten Cop. He was pretty cool, and could have become a veteran star. He was also featured in Wes Craven’s New Nightmare. Ok, this one wasn’t as cult, since it was the seventh part, but we still appreciate his work in the horror and thriller genre. Oh, and we forget Apollo 13, and somewhat more forgettable Spawn. Way to go, kid.
The acclaimed DJ’s name Miko is of Native American heritage and means “Chief” in Chickasaw language. Hughes was born in Apple Valley, California. The former movie star is also a beekeeper and counts his 30,000 bees as pets.
The actor who is now 28, acted in a recent movie as an Italian sculptor. The film came out in 2010 and was called City of Shoulders and Noses. The movie is still in the post-production but announces the plot that follows the son of a renowned sculptor and a beautiful and rich Italian woman, who must endure the deranged behavior of his stepmother. The sculptor’s parents help him unlock the mystery of his parent’s murder.
The actor is known as DJ Cubed. He did, however, appear in Tropical Thunder as a DJ, but was uncredited, according to IMDB.
