Here’s a man who thinks that everyone on set should bend their knees and bow to him whenever he’s around and that every single one of his many obnoxious demands should be fulfilled at once.
Dempsey played Dr. Derek Shepherd in Gray’s Anatomy since the series began in 2005, but was written off the show after a while. He returned for fleeting appearances, even though he signed a new two-year deal in January 2014.
Why? Basically, he’s such a diva that nobody on set could stand him. He was constantly complaining, nagging, and giving everybody a hard time just because he could never be appeased. He even managed to infuriate the creator of the series, Shonda Rhimes, who was later forced to adopt a “no a-holes on set” policy, just for the sake of her well-being.
