13. Michael Jackson
Jackson was and always will be the King of Pop. Outside of maybe Elvis, he was the most influential and important singer to ever come from America and will always be remembered for revolutionizing the pop music industry.
He died at the age of 50 in his home in California and officials first deemed the cause of death as acute intoxication of a powerful anesthetic complicated by other sedatives. The doctor, who lived with Michael Jackson at the time, was then arrested and charged for involuntary manslaughter in connection to the death.
The doctor, Conrad Murray, said that he had found Jackson in his room and that he was not breathing and barely had a pulse when he got there. He said that he had administered CRP on the pop star, but there was no chance of saving him. Paramedic came and tried to revive him as well, but they were not able to.
The coroner concluded that the death was a homicide. Murray was convicted in the end of involuntary manslaughter and ended up serving two years in prison for the death of the pop legend.
