17. Crazy Town
The fact that Crazy Town is no longer a thing isn’t really a surprise to anyone. We guarantee that absolutely no one thought that Crazy Town were going to have a long career.
They are pretty much the epitome of nu metal’s worst period, when rockers started getting softer and writing terrible love songs. They were corny from the get-go and nothing changed. Their biggest single Butterfly still gets jammed, but when you here someone playing it, you know that they are doing so ironically.
Really, there wasn’t anything about Crazy Town that could have helped them sustain a career and if you ask us, they are lucky that they got their 15 seconds of fame at all, considering that they probably made a lot more money than most bands of the time who were way more talented than them.
