Tweet was popular before Twitter, meaning that she was Tweet before people know what a tweet was.
Her huge single called Oops (Oh My) really couldn’t fail, considering that she was working with Missy Elliot and Timbaland at the time, who were pretty much the biggest producers in the pop world at that point and everything they touched turned to gold. After that single, she pretty much disappeared, even though she announced back in 2011 that she was actually working with Elliot and Timbaland again and preparing new material.
This ended up putting a new album out in 2011 called “Love, Tweet,” but no one cared. There really was no buzz anymore but that time and these days, no one even knows who she is anymore. We wonder if she’s on Twitter?
