15. Eamon
The 2000s seem to have a lot of r’n’b stars who came and went. Eamon definitely fits into that description. All signs pointed to Eamon actually being a star that could have some longevity.
People were comparing him to Usher a lot and the record company was investing in his success heavily. His first single did great. It was all over the r’n’b and rap radio stations and there was an album on the way.
After the single conquered America, it was released around the world and had strong showings in the UK and Australia as well. But Eamon never had a single like that one again. F**k It (I Don’t Want You Back) was a huge success, but he never made a song that received that much attention again. Nowadays, they only place you see him is in lists like this.
