14. Eiffel 65
We are kind of glad that Eiffel 65 were not a thing for very long, because they could have led to a huge explosion of europop if things had gone differently. Thankfully, this Italian group did not outstay their welcome.
In every decade, you will have the one-hit wonder groups who have songs that are incredibly catchy and memorable, even though they are, realistically, incredibly annoying. Eiffel 65 were one of those groups, and their single Blue (Da Ba Dee) was the 2000s equivalent of the Macarena.
And while they did not have much international success, they are still pretty big in Italy and have a solid following in Europe still. Hopefully it stays that way, because the world should get at least two decades to recover before we need another dose of euro pop in our lives.
