12. Shaggy
Remember when Shaggy was a guest on just about every song? He was Sean Paul before Sean Paul, always lending his reggae vocal styling to song in order to make them instant hits.
The thing is that he really hasn’t had a hit in quite some time. In fact, we actually have no idea what he is doing now. If you look at it really, Shaggy only had one good album. He was just able to milk that album for everything it was worth. Hot Shot was a huge success, but every other album he tried to release after that one pretty much tanked. It was good while it lasted though.
Shaggy managed to translate that one big album into a slew of big-paying guest appearances, and we are sure that he still makes a decent penny from those tracks. Well, hopefully he does, because no one wants to book him to sing a chorus today.
