10. Blu Cantrell
Blu Cantrell, real name Tiffany Cobb, rose to prominence in 2001 with her hit single Hit ‘Em Up Style (Oops!) which reached the number two position on the US Billboard Hot 100 and topped other relevant charts as well. In 2003, Cantrell released her second album, featuring a massive hit Breathe, featuring Sean Paul.
The album, entitled Bittersweet, got her a Grammy nomination, while the single became a chart topper on both sides of the Atlantic. Cantrell then disappeared for almost ten years, only to reemerge in a less than positive manner. In 2014, she was apprehended while running around the streets, screaming that someone tried to poison her with gas.
She was taken to a hospital in Santa Monica where she underwent psychiatric evaluation due to her erratic behavior. She remains reclusive ever since the incident.
