5. JACK OSBOURNE
Jack Osbourne is best known as the star of MTV’s reality series The Osbournes, which ran for only three years but was hugely popular. His father is John Osbourne, better known as Ozzy Osbourne, the singer of the band Black Sabbath.
Jack has experienced various symptoms of the disease throughout the years: blindness in one eye, numbness in both legs, and problems with his bladder, bowel, and stomach. In June 2012, Osbourne announced that he had been diagnosed with relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis.
Multiple sclerosis (MS), also known as encephalomyelitis disseminata, is an inflammatory disease in which the insulating covers of nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord are damaged.Contrary to popular belief, most people with MS live just as long as the general population.
Jack even works out and is training to be a fitness instructor and this is what he had to say about his disease: “Right now am I going to be in a wheelchair? No. But if I don’t take care of myself, who knows.”
