Wahlberg left school in the ninth grade for all the wrong reasons.
After spending some time in jail on assault charges, he decided to turn his life around and tried his hand at rapping and modeling underwear before breaking onto the big screen. He even had substance abuse problems (cocaine) when he was only thirteen years old.
As the youngest of nine children, Mark had a lot of problems during his “wild years”, but now it would seem that he has finally managed to turn his life around. He received his high school diploma in June 2013.
